The program aims to:

Module 1: Entrepreneurial Mindset & Motivation

What is entrepreneurship and why it matters; motivations (be your own boss, pursue ideas); characteristics (passion, tenacity, execution intelligence); Agri-founder mini-story; overview of entrepreneurial ecosystems

Module 2: Opportunity Recognition & Idea Generation

Opportunities vs. ideas; identifying opportunities (trends, problems, market gaps); personal traits (experience, networks, creativity); techniques for idea generation (brainstorming research); What is a ‘problem worth solving’?; From problems to possible agri solutions.

Module 3: Business Model Basics

Business model baiscs (very simple Lean Canvas visual); Value creation with agri example; “Design your own” scenario           

Module 4: Testing and Improving your Idea

Why market validation matters; “What would you ask a farmer/customer?”; Example of a validation question

Module 5: Pitching and Communicating the Idea

Purpose and benefits of writing a business plan; audience expectations; guidelines and structure; key sections of the plan; pitching and presenting the plan to investors and stakeholders; The elements of a great pitch (template for 3 lines)
